When quarantine first started, our dog pound had all of their dogs quickly adopted. We have new neighbours - our old ones were here for nine years, and they left because they have a rental property they can live in, the money from the sale of the house, can pay for all four years of their son's tuition. Our new neighbours have three kids and three dogs. They're out in the large garden a lot, and a camper they have parked next to the house. IP: Logged

Contrast it with 2008/2009 when home sales plummeted. In a down market, homes can sit for many months. Sellers do sell for any number of reasons. But buyers only buy when they can afford to do so and when they are optimistic about the housing market in general and about the neighborhood in particular. IP: Logged
