It’s almost as if a bolstered police presence actually reduces violence. It’s almost as if when you take away the meat shields, the bad actors hardly have a leg to stand on. I wonder what is the legal basis/argument for this. It is truly a dark time for freedom of information. On the positive, that means we will not be inundated with truncated videos that do not show the protesters instigating and only show the police response. It also means no videotaping of the officers if there is any protesters in the shot. That censorship will backfire on the lefties PR machine. ETA: Does that ruling also cover photos? The judge is a partisan political hack who said that people should be able to peacefully protest without having their privacy violated by being taped. First of all, you have zero privacy in public. Second, your "protests" are not protected by the First Amendment once you break the law. Obviously this idiot watches CNN, which has the view that the looting and burning isn't happening.
