Repeaetdly categorizing those rioters as "peaceful protesters" is also a way for the lefties to hypnotize themselves into thinking and feeling righteous and fighting the good fight. Human beings typically need some kind of moral justifications even if it is fabricated, to do what they are doing.

Hypnotize? Or delude? Self-delusion is the most harmful kind.

That's a good point, Belage.

It’s almost as if a bolstered police presence actually reduces violence. It’s almost as if when you take away the meat shields, the bad actors hardly have a leg to stand on. Good on the protesters stopping the folks trying to start fires. Hold your own accountable. Disavow the violence completely.

"Peaceful Protestor" caught on camera setting the courthouse on fire

quote:
EXPOSED: protester complains on camera he was shot by feds for peacefully protesting

What he doesn’t know is I caught him earlier lighting the Portland courthouse on fire (arson)

The look of guilt on his face when he gets caught is priceless

A judge says no one will be allowed to videotape protesters there. You can’t make this stuff up.

Apparently, most americans are not stupid and can see what is going on, in spite of the efforts of the left to sanctify the rioters as peaceful. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that:

50% of Likely U.S. Voters believe political leaders in some major cities like Portland and Seattle are encouraging violent protests by limiting the police response.

VS

31% who disagree.

19% are not sure.

I wonder what is the legal basis/argument for this. It is truly a dark time for freedom of information.

On the positive, that means we will not be inundated with truncated videos that do not show the protesters instigating and only show the police response.

It also means no videotaping of the officers if there is any protesters in the shot.

That censorship will backfire on the lefties PR machine.

ETA: Does that ruling also cover photos? If not, then that is the way the left plans on continuing their propaganda. Photos do not tell a true story without the full story provided by a video.

The judge is a partisan political hack who said that people should be able to peacefully protest without having their privacy violated by being taped. First of all, you have zero privacy in public. Second, your "protests" are not protected by the First Amendment once you break the law. Obviously this idiot watches CNN, which has the view that the looting and burning isn't happening.

I'd be surprised if this isn't challenged in court by the Trump Administration, which is going after Antifa. Video is being used as a tool to identify Antifa and protesters who are breaking the law.

I am tempted to call him an idiot, but I would be wrong. This is just deliberate leftist interpretation of our laws with an agenda. He knows what he is doing.

I can see this ruling overturned alrelady because it is so outrageous.

They’re trying to control the narrative, especially by suggesting only the ACLU can decide who is and is not a member of the press. They realize the coverage has angered Americans instead of garnered their support.

They argued for body cams years ago, but when their own people are the ones being accountable, it’s suddenly not a good thing to record public encounters. What’s good for me, but not for thee.

These people are deliberately trying to incite a response. Thirsty for attention, they’re constantly trying to one-up themselves. This is what I mean by self-hypnotizing themselves into a frenzy. A tiny step here, a tiny step there, until they’re finally committing serious atrocities. How many normal people think it’s perfectly acceptable to lob a bomb at other people? This is why this lawlessness must be stopped at the get-go, and not allowed to fester or be negotiated with.

Interesting that they are burning bibles, but not korans, or Baghava Gitas, or books on Wiccans, Santeria, Native American spirituality, or vodoun, etc.

I guess we can call it selective religious outrage.

Someone I read on Twitter said where he lives, there's a radio show where listeners call in. Guess what? All the callers were Democrats saying they're voting for President Trump.
