Apparently we have sent probes to the sun and learnt a lot about it. Apparently it is winter season so to speak in the sun. Not sure how long it will last and what the impact was in the past when humanity dependent less on technology. Will a 2 degree drop of output cause a global cataclysmic event? Hope not.
