I'm on the hunt for sources of world news that can be trusted to be as factual as possible.I'm not under any illusions, even within the holy grail of knowledge and facts - scientific research - you find bias in various forms (publication bias, sampling bias, funding bias, interpretative bias, etc), however, there must be sources which members feel are more unbiased than the rest. Straightforward reporting of facts which leave the interpretation up to the reader. Do any truly exist? Can we list them here? Thank you in advance! IP: Logged |

Then throw in the reader’s interpretation of said facts and you have another dynamic.IP: Logged |

True. Would you recommend any sources? IP: Logged |

Newsmax is a pro-Trump, pro-conservative news outlet, but despite that biased slant accurately reports the facts. IP: Logged |

No sorry. I pretty much take everything I read with a pinch of salt. Even if there was such a thing, I would still be reserved to it’s legitimacy to and extent. But I don’t worry about it. I leave that to other people.

I dont know of any.Facts, when shared, are eclipsed by opinion. Better to search out the original source. eg rather than the Huffpost or Breitbart take on Breonna Taylor, read the police report. Cut out the middle man That said, for the sake of both reasoned opinion and spiritual refinement, I would make a point to read opposing opinion pieces. If you watch Tucker tonight, watch Lemon tomorrow. IP: Logged |

The Associated Press and Reuters are known for adhering to old school rules of journalism.https://www.allsides.com/media-bias/media-bias-ratings https://library.fvtc.edu/News/BiasCheck IP: Logged |

Thank you for this Acousticgod. According to your first link, I have been predominantly reading 'centre' and 'leaning left' news. Interesting. IP: Logged |

You're welcome. The right-leaning media are still learning how to be fair and balanced. Fox has made some strides, but is still pretty reliably from the conservative perspective. IP: Logged |

As if the media controlled by the left is fair and balanced. Just one example: During the 2016 Democratic primary, I started watch Faux because it was the only network that reported positive news, if anything, about Bernie Sanders. quote: Fox has made some strides, but is still pretty reliably from the conservative perspective.
Faux's "strides" just lost them a huge conservative audience. IP: Logged |

For being honest, which is really sad, and frightening. IP: Logged |
