It looks like the constitutional arguments in PA and GA will either flip to President Trump or not issue electoral votes. He will only need one more state. If he gets NV, which had a hearing on Dec. 3, that would be 47 electoral votes from Biden. Trump would be POTUS for another 4 years from an electoral win or with Congress deciding. Either way, Trump wins! IP: Logged |

An evidentiary hearing in PA is scheduled for Friday, November 27th regarding certification.

If these three states see enough evidence that the election was tainted and refuse to vote for electors, Trump wins.IP: Logged |

I'm confident they will see enough evidence, more than enough. IP: Logged |

I think one of these state legislatures is going to go rogue and publicly announce they are going to cast their electoral votes to Trump. There is so much circumstantial evidence there was fraud that would justify it in their minds. And once one does it, others will follow. They just don’t want to be first. IP: Logged |

I'm confident they won't. So many republicans openly trying to cheat? That is something that we can all see. IP: Logged |

I’m not sure about this. The fact there is little confidence in the election results is far more likely to make the state legislatures refuse to certify altogether, instead of side with one candidate over the other. Making assumptions of who is the winner seems unlikely. In this scenario, should neither candidate receive the requisite 270 electoral votes, it will fall on Congress to decide, one vote per state. Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada - any of the swing states might rescind certification. IP: Logged |

Well, President Trump invited the MI legislature to the WH, and it didn't work. He invited PA next week. It is a long shot. But you're right--failing to certify altogether is much more likely, and then leave it to Congress. IP: Logged |
