The feds need to make arrests for storming the Capitol. Not the DC police, because they will just get back out the next day. With pressure of 30 years in prison, these basement babies will rat out who paid them. My bet is it goes to the highest levels of the Dem party. IP: Logged |

I think he should concede. Why? Because there is a disconnect because the Republican base and a lot of the republican elected officials. Trump can't even count on his own VP Pence to do the right thing. Republicans in Georgia by having a low turnout are signaling they don't trust the republican party anymore. I think in the coming years, the base is going to form a party of its own - Maybe one headed by Trump - and pull the rugs from under the republican RINOS. But if the base stays with the republican party, in 2022, it is going to vote out all the RINOS. IP: Logged |

I am sure part of the storming was due to instigators, but I also believe many of them were patriots who just let their frustrations get the best of them. The timing is telling, because it came after Pence's statement came out. Many people just lost it!

Look, this is where I am now. It is a good thing that has happened. Biden and Harris can enjoy their ill gotten win. But the republican base had an opportunity to identify the swamp creatures of the republican party, and in the coming years, can do the cleanup and reconstructing that's needed for this party to be viable.
