They THEMSELVES do not partake in same but via corporate media and public government try to foster division and separation between us, so that we do not focus on the real enemy--THEM. They fund and play both sides as is necessary and convenient for them. Why else did the DNC undermine and sabotage Sanders twice in a row now, when he had a very good chance of winning both presidential elections?

Because he would have been a true change agent and would have started the process of rooting out corruption which is enmeshed in both "sides". The biggest problem in both sides and all politics is, and always has been, special interests and big money i.e. CORRUPTION.

So keep falling for this b.s. facade and falling for their trap, cause that's really going to help things. These plutocrats probably laugh at us for fighting among ourselves, rather than uniting and realizing that we actually have far more in common with each other than the billionaires and covert trillionaires that actually run this world.

But pick your stupid football team (or more aptly, WWE wrestler), and rarara your side while denigrating the other side. So constructive, so balanced, so "woke".

F'cking broken record, and you're all just so blind. Seriously, completely, utterly blind and being led to your own "soft" enslavement. If it wasn't for the Creative Forces via nature going to be intervening in the near future, I would have zero hope for humanity. I would have thought that people interested in astrology, metaphysics, and/or spirituality might be a little more awake and conscious, but clearly not.

i agree with you 100% actually

whole system is trash, neither is good, people are being pushed to fight each other equivalent of sports teams etc

Yeah, I was over generalizing some. I know there are some folks here that get this, but unfortunately just not enough to matter or change the tides. I don't know why I allow myself to get upset and angry about this, when I know that it's all going to collapse anyways.

And berating people for being duped by very clever, and practiced at manipulation, psychopaths, isn't going to help anything either, so I guess I'm being somewhat a hypocrite as well.

Bernie Sanders had a slight chance of winning 2016 and zero chance of winning 2020. Either way, though, to suggest that the DNC was responsible for either result reflects not understanding how elections work. It also reveals that you don't understand the powers the DNC does and does not have. The only way one arrives at these conclusions is by allowing certain narratives to take hold that were never true. Bernie's campaign has sadly fomented these ideas.

Also, Bernie Sanders sabotaged himself by not being disciplined enough. How could one possibly win a party's nomination while speaking poorly of it? It was not inspiring to those outside of the Bernie camp. That's why it turned out that his base hadn't really grown much.

Keep paying attention. Question your assumptions.

You actually don’t respond easily to me at all. Not substantively. I’m not talking about paying someone to do your taxes or taking the responsibility to learn on your own. Oh, you own 1/2 of two houses. That math means one house. That somehow makes you trump the Trump. Try building a luxury structure from the ground up, turning a broken building into a luxurious one, and building an international brand that means the top echelon of attainment. Then I might listen to you. Businesses get bogged down with regulations. If they pay less taxes, they can choose to invest some of that. As just one example of taxes, investing in new equipment had to be depreciated. With the Trump tax cuts, the entire amount can be deducted in one year. That encourages investing in new equipment and hiring new workers. As just one example with deregulation, it took several years to get a highway approved. It’s now down to two. That equals jobs. You just don’t understand capitalism. I also doubt that you know anything about regulations. Do you even know how agencies promulgate rules? Obama created so many new regulations that it choked out so much potential. In contrast, President Trump cut regulations. He made us a net exporter of petroleum. Your guy wants to give up our lead to the nation that truly wants to rule the world. Watch gas prices and energy prices soar, because the Dems don’t care about the middle class who will suffer the most when their power bills double. Not only did President Trump cut regulations, but he required two to be cut for every one new regulation. It doesn’t take much common sense to figure out that if you have less red tape to deal with, you can focus your time and money instead on growing your business.

One could have a very long and nuanced discussion about this, as things are not so simple nor black and white either way. The people that fund the DNC also are heavily involved with corporate media and media can help to slant things to what they want us to think, perceive, believe, etc.

However, I will address the above indirectly. The below doesn't directly address the DNC, and yet it clearly indicates that our "democracy" is not really a democracy and is completely broken.

I do, Randall. Always have.

quote:

Nor was I. Read again.

quote:

I don't think I could avoid paying contractors and falling into bankruptcy enough to follow in his footsteps.

quote:
Businesses get bogged down with regulations.

As a person whose spent a lot of years in a heavily regulated industry, I can affirm that this assumption is false. The problems aren't with the regulations but rather the business leaders who can't figure out how to work with them.

quote:
As just one example of taxes, investing in new equipment had to be depreciated. With the Trump tax cuts, the entire amount can be deducted in one year. That encourages investing in new equipment and hiring new workers.

There have LONG been business incentives. Some people even advocate for taking away corporate welfare. Depreciation wasn't invented with Trump even if he cut down the time on it.

With regard to highways, have we been suffering under wait times?

quote:
You just don’t understand capitalism.

You know liberals do Capitalism better, right? Who puts the "elites" in liberal elites?

quote:

False...as evidenced by his ever-growing economy.

Let's just acknowledge that you're full of opinions and assumptions that are just plain untrue.

Also, if you do need help with your business finances/taxes, I recommend Mike Michalowicz's series of books. You'll find my name at his site four years ago.

GalacticCoreExplosion,

I applaud you for posting a video that is from a person worth listening to (versus some second-rate opinion-holder that I was kind of expecting - not because of you, but because of the quality of information many people seem to like on this forum).

I am in general agreement with all of his criticisms.

I am not talking about suffering under wait times. I am talking about the job creation of cutting those times down by several years, and same-year depreciation encouraging equipment investment, which means business expansion and equals more jobs. If you can't understand the simple connection of those events with job growth, then you are not up to the task of engaging me with a discussion on these matters. Such is an exercise in futility for me. The DOW had never broken 20,000 in the past before President Trump and never exceeded 19,000 under Obama. It has had many record highs (along with the S&P and NASDAQ) under President Trump and is now over 31,000! That's trillions in new wealth created. Once regulations are cut (yes, businesses have to deal with them—which was the only thing you said that makes sense—but that costs time and money, you silly liberal) and taxes are lowered, business growth is encouraged, and job creation ensues. I'm done even trying to discuss these subjects with you if you can't see the obvious link in just those two alone, because why would I continue giving examples? You are just wasting my time.

I do care, and I get really tired of the assumptions. Does anyone care about the Q folks buying an arsenal of weapons, preparing for something they have no proof of? I saw an account last night, re-posting fake news, in order to alarm people. They supported an actual terrorist attack last week, and are now doubling down, with trump and others dealing with consequences for a change. “It’s happening folks! It’s no longer a conspiracy!” As Trump gets banned long after he should have been. “If they can do it to the president, they can do it to you!” Of course they can, he was banned from Twitter!

Most of us are burnt the f*ck out, and can only deal with so much. We know the earth is in trouble, we know that we will still have to fight for what we need. That doesn’t mean that we just give up. I don’t see what we are supposed to do with what you’ve said. If anyone has a concrete plan that a lot of us could work with, without shooting anyone, please! Then lay it out for us. I have a gut, too. I follow it when I can. We all do. You tell us to go within - well, I do.

But, sure, we’re all stupid puppets, who have no idea about anything. It’s a wonder that I can make it to the shower by myself.

Randall, Trump can’t string together coherent sentences. He makes no sense, most of the time. Biden has speech issues that he’s admitted to, and isn’t ashamed of. A friend of mine has a very smart and kind little girl, who has the same kind of speech issues, and now she gets to see that it won’t hold her back from great things (if she wants to try for anything like this in her lifetime).

This is all a distraction from the fact that Trump has riled up his supporters for months (years!), and they got five people killed since Wednesday. They beat one cop to death. Don’t “what about” - I don’t know anyone who wants cops dead. Another one was crushed between doors, and I wonder if he’s okay now. Trump set them up, and didn’t send help - he wanted this. He is insane, and dangerous, and I see all of these threads from people who should be saying, “I’m sorry. I don’t know how I didn’t see this coming. We will learn from this.” You know, the kind of thing that you expect from the rest of us, all the time. Republican politicians - most of them still stood up and tried to steal the election, after this. They now talk of unity, and moving on. That won’t happen without accountability.

Screw it, I have things to do, and this is pointless. Utterly pointless. I saw Jenna Ryan’s Facebook account. One woman who was a trump supporter, commented and said that she no longer is - that what people did in his name on Wednesday, was wrong, and she is now questioning everything that she has believed for the past four years. His supporters are going to be tried under the same rules that he put out for the BLM protesters, but he might still get away with everything. Oh, and nobody wanted them to be shot. We wondered why they weren’t shot, the way the rest of us would have been, if we’d rushed the capitol. I’m leaving, before my blood pressure goes through the roof. It’s at a nice, stable “simmering” right now. We aren’t going to learn anything. It’s just going to keep getting worse.

Ha!

A connection MAY very well exist. It MAY also not exist whatsoever. You're correlating while talking causation.

Teasel, the harsh truth of the matter is that several noted psychological experiments along the lines of the Milgram, have shown that the majority of people are fairly easy to manipulate, deceive, or push into beliefs, perceptions, and/or actions they wouldn't otherwise believe/think or do, when there is an "authority figure" involved pressuring them. In these studies, the "authority" in question was quite tenuous. For example, in the Milgram experiment the authority just wore a lab coat and talked in a professional like manner. And yet somehow, they were able to get the majority of people to administer electrical shocks to the level of causing apparent harm and distress to others... I find this incredibly and deeply disturbing on many, many levels. It also reminds me of history and things like Germany during WWII.

I think you're a generally intelligent, fairly perceptive, and definitely caring kind of person, but I sometimes get the sense that you believe corporate media too much tbh and align too much with the identity of being "liberal/part of the left". That identification, much like a religion or any kind of belief system or group think, will have a narrowing and distorting effect on perception. It's why I don't and won't ever call or think of self as this or that, or part of this or that group whether political, religious, social, etc. Though I essentially follow the teachings of Yeshua, I don't call myself "Christian". Though I eat mostly vegan and vegetarian, I don't say I'm a vegan, vegetarian or pescetarian. These are perceptual, belief system traps that I try to avoid.

It allows me to remain more objective and not be as influenced by group think. Group think and belief are the enemies of truth. Jupitarians like myself may be preachy and a bit much at times, but we are obsessed with higher truth and put that above all else.

I'll give you a very clear and recent example. You denigrated the term, and people using the term of "elites" not long ago. I pointed out to you that it was not a "conspiracy theory", but very much a fact. I shared with you an excellent TedX talk by a Harvard Professor talking about an extensive political study done by Princeton saying how corrupt the US political system is, and how ELITES run it. The Princeton study even used that specific term!

Never heard anything back from you. I don't think you're a blind puppet, but you're not willing to question your own beliefs and more so the group think of those you align with enough. And you seem to have a rabid dislike of the right which at times distorts your perceptions to when they sometimes do say or speak truth. They are not wrong ALL the time, just as liberals are not right ALL the time. That is such a simplistic, two dimensional view of reality and human perception.

It needs to go out the window. The trick is, not personally identifying with either. And I would say that sometimes I get the sense that you take things too personally at times, when at times, its not even directed directly towards you. This is not a surprise as you have a very strong focus on the Personal Signs.

I fully recognize that in a personal sense, I should tone it down. Though I am usually speaking generally and impersonally, there is no point in blasting people for these short comings of perception. We're up against some very clever, very manipulative, very practiced, very rich, very connected ******** , and I need to have more compassion and empathy for that fact. I've just been feeling more angry lately and sometimes my method of venting is to rant about things in a more general and impersonal way--precisely so I don't narrow in on people in a personal and direct sense. Anytime I do partake in the latter, I always end up feeling really ****** about it. I really dislike the thought and feeling of possibly hurting another.

I'm not talking about stuttering. It's not the way Biden speaks at issue. It's what he says. It's his cognitive decline. I'm not making fun of that condition, but he shouldn't be the leader of the free world.
