So, I’m assuming grocery stores have remained open? Does the virus know not to spread in them?IP: Logged |

They closed again after Christmas because of a significant increase in cases and deaths which led to most of Scotland entering 'Tier 4' lockdown restrictions, which is the highest level. These changes will take us to Tier 3. Tier 1 is pretty much normality. http://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-protection-levels/pages/overview/ ------------------ "But you, my daughter, you will linger on in darkness and in doubt, as nightfall in winter that comes without a star. They closed non-essential businesses. ------------------ "But you, my daughter, you will linger on in darkness and in doubt, as nightfall in winter that comes without a star. I don't what your issue is here Randall. It's called damage control, you're intelligent enough to know that. ------------------ "But you, my daughter, you will linger on in darkness and in doubt, as nightfall in winter that comes without a star. Had the citizens of the United States worked TOGETHER from the beginning {last admin} we could have been FAR AHEAD of this by now.We have had NEEDLESS DEATHS ..surpassing 500,000 souls dead. In the 1970s and 1980s there was a movement saying to "QUESTION Authority", not to DEFY it! Rebels without Cause ... The 'few' of these PROLONG the PANDEMIC, spoiling the sacrifice of most! Their acts to DELAY, now encourage even-more infectious VARIANTS to bloom from it. When it comes to contagion, THE WEAKEST LINKS keep it spreading. What happened to "adulting"? especially among grown-adults themselves IP: Logged |

Biden called President trump a xenophobe for closing down travel from China. I am pretty sure Democrats all agreed with that. Had Biden been in charge, millions would have died very quickly. Millions! Biden admitted President Trump was right and he was wrong. Variants are created from prolonging herd immunity from lockdowns. IP: Logged |

He didn’t shut down travel from everywhere else, did he? Asian people have been the victims of attacks, from stupid people who blame them for covid. Some stopped eating Chinese food, specifically avoided Chinatown (that was the reason for Pelosi encouraging people to visit). He refused to stop calling it the China virus, or king-flu, when it had repeatedly been pointed out why it was a problem. Where did Biden admit that he was wrong? IP: Logged |

Yes, he shut down travel from Europe also. He shut down travel from China within a week of us having our first confirmed case. You can't get your slanted news from bad sources and then come in here and ask me to educate you. Do some Googling. Pelosi was encouraging the spread of the virus when she invited people to congregate while President Trump was trying to stop the virus. It is a common practice to name a virus from where it originated. IP: Logged |

Regarding the naming of the virus, I am now mortified I spent the better part of a thread I had started on Covid at the beginning of the epidemic arguing with people that the virus should NOT be named Wuhan or Chinese.Only to watch now the various variants being named after the locations where they originate and noone is batting an eye or screaming racism. You can't say the Chinese virus, but you can say the British variant. You can say the South African variant. SMH.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDfAdHBtK_Q "Won't Get Fooled Again" We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they are flown in the last war I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again No, no! I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky Oh I know that the hypnotized never lie Do ya? There's nothing in the streets Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by the bye And a parting on the left Is now a parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no! Meet the new boss Same as the old boss IP: Logged |
