He is leaving that option on the table for strategic purposes, but I don't believe Trump has any intention to run again. Why would he put himself through that effing grinder, when he can just play kingmaker? He can become the Don Corleone of the GOP, and have people come to him and kiss his hand before they run for office, and he can leisurely enjoy his rounds of golf.  But seriously, he can be more powerful and accomplish more behind the scene than in the top seat. Now that he is not on the scene as a distraction, the democrats are imploding, with Biden signing one more unpopular executive order after another and routinely putting his foot in his mouth, and Cuomo and Newsom fighting for their political survival. You make great points, but I think he will run. And once these unconstitutional voting laws are fixed, combined with Biden’s broken promises and rising energy costs, it will be on the tails of a landslide 2022. I think he will announce on the eve of the midterms. If President Trump wants the nomination, he has it. And with the way the Dems are dismantling the country, they will lose the left of center moderate vote. With all the people who want to run in 2024, none of them said a single bad word against him at CPAC. IP: Logged |
