What a wonderful idea from democrats. Pay illegal aliens in New York $15,000 each and let US taxpayers pay for it.Democrats have a highly contagious psychological illness that circulates through their ranks. So far, it appears incurable. Sundance New York is reportedly going to spend $2.1 Billion on a fund to give illegal aliens COVID relief payments up to $15,600 per person. Beyond all the initial reactions to illegal aliens gaining seven times as much covid relief as citizen taxpayers, or even getting them at all, one little aspect remains undiscussed. The only reason New York can afford to do this is because they received a massive amount of bailout support from within the Pelosi-Biden blue state relief effort. In essence, U.S. taxpayers are subsidizing New York’s ability to pay illegal aliens $15,000 each. My guess is, using tax payers money, the democrats are taking an insurance for future elections where they won't even have to cheat to win.They are essentially pre-emptively buying gratitude votes, and as they plan on giving those illegal aliens citizenship, they are creating a class of citizens that will vote democrat forever. Huh?? I asked YOU for concrete examples of voter suppression in that other thread about 6 days ago, and you never came up with any. Debating people is not your strong point, but accusing people sure is. I had to go outside the forum and engage IRL a progressive friend of mine, someone who is not intellectually lazy and who can hold a rationale conversation, and he came up with 4 concrete examples, which I addressed plentifully in that thread, and I am still on the fence regarding 1 example. 11 Apr 2021Homeless veterans in New York are not eligible for the $15,600 one-time payments that nearly 200,000 illegal aliens will soon receive, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) notes. As Breitbart News has reported, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) and state Democrats have struck a budget deal that includes $2.1 billion in taxpayer funding to provide unemployment benefits and stimulus checks to about 187,000 illegal aliens. Illegal aliens who will be eligible for the one-time payment could receive up to $15,600, the equivalent of about $300 a week for one year. The aid to illegal aliens is $1.1 billion more in funding than tax credits and grants authorized for New York small businesses in the budget.
