Half of a survey of very liberal respondents believe that 1,000 to 10,000 Black men were killed by police in 2019 (PoliceMag, February 25). According to the Washington Post database, that number was 12. The Mapping Police Violence database says the number was 27. A far cry from 1,000. This is what happens with media-induced rage based on a false narrative.
