Black status means hospital officials will defer non-emergency surgeries at hospitals throughout the Central Florida division

AdventHealth officials said this is the most amount of COVID-19 hospitalizations the Central Florida system has seen in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hospital officials will share a news update at 1 p.m. on Friday.
“What’s extraordinary is the speed at which we are currently seeing new cases and unfortunately right now, the slope is pretty steep and we haven’t seen the end of it, this is still coming,” executive director of infection prevention and hospital epidemiologist Dr. Vincent Hsu said.
In response to whether there are any signs of a deceleration in the number of cases, Hsu said there isn’t as of now and they are continuing to see a “very significant surge.” He said among the number of hospitalized patients, about 93-95% are unvaccinated patients.

“We have to recognize that the delta variant behaves in ways that ... were unlike the other variants and so this is a significant issue that we’re going to have to deal with,” Hsu said.
In response to the surge, AdventHealth updated its visitor policy to allow one visitor per non-COVID patient and patients positive with the virus will be allowed one visitor by appointment only.
“We’re seeing the uptick, we’re seeing folks coming in for more testing, we’re seeing a lot more positive testing,” said Dr. Michael Cacciatore, chief medical officer with AdventHealth.

You don't remember that only about 10,000 Americans died FROM COVID 19...with the vast majority dying WITH COVID 19.
Don't you remember American dying from gunshot wounds...with covid 19? Or, dying in auto accidents with covid 19? Or dying from Cancer..with covid 19? Or, any of the other fatal diseases or accidents in which covid 19 played no part in their deaths whatsoever?

If you actually look at the last 60 years or so of Federal Government in the US, we have been lied to about so much, and many pretty major, major things.

If they are willing to constantly lie to get us into unnecessary wars, battles, etc, which have resulted in untold deaths and suffering around the globe, and whether we have a Democrat or Republican president, you really think they won't lie to us about things like Covid to line the pockets of their corporate over lords? Do you think the politicians differentiate between the corporate over lords of the military industrial complex, or the pharmaceutical mega corporations? No, it's all just $$$ to them.

And you really think Biden and his controllers are "good guys" when he almost immediately after taking office started bombing another country for no just reasons whatsoever?

No, if our government was a person and lied to us as pathologically as they have, we would be a dang fool to automatically believe them about anything. Let alone something that connects to a billions of dollars of profit every year pharmaceutical corporate money trail.

Did you know that the Gulf of Tonkin "attack" being a false flag went from being a so called "conspiracy theory", to being admitted by the NSA declassified files way after the fact? That was one of the things that got us into the Vietnam war, that we supposedly been attacked by enemies (boy, doesn't that sound familiar).

Teasel, I don't understand the following. You have stated that you have met some pretty nasty and unscrupulous people in your life so far, such as your brother in law. Why can't you see, that there are more people like him in positions of power, authority, and wealth, than the more rare, highly ethical and empathy centered people? Why do you so fear to face this core truth about how things are? Just because it is depressing and makes you feel completely powerless?

The truth is, people like your brother in law are near saints and angels compared to some of the people that have the most power, wealth, and material influence in this world. Yes, it is both depressing and frightening, but the truth matters whether or not we want to face it because of its lack of comfort and feel good feelings.

If I could straight up completely open your 3rd eye/Pineal gland, and help you see things as they truly are, I get a very, very, very strong feeling that you would not want me to do this.
