Yup, there is a lot of convoluted "logic" and hoop jumping in relation to this whole narrative. And basic, holistic logic and critical thinking skills seem to be lacking amongst the general populace. But once you get people into fear and fear mindsets, it is much easier to fool, manipulate, and deceive them.
This is why every major war that the US has fought in, was preceded by a boogeyman and attack from an enemy. (and sometimes staged or outright made up, like the Gulf of Tonkin non event).
The plutocrats understand this basic, human psychology, and keep using the same ole tricks on us. The CIA has literally been studying how best/most effectively manipulate human perception and belief since the latter 50's. They hired/paid numerous psychologists and scientists to do research in these areas and under various black op programs, many of which we probably have no clue about, but do know about some such as Mk Ultra.
Btw, interesting connection with Mk Ultra. One of the psychologists heavily involved with that program, one William Thetford, was also heavily involved with pushing and promoting the so called spiritual book and course that became quite well known and popular during the 70's called "A Course In Miracles".
ACIM is supposedly "Jesus" speaking through Helen Schuman, who was Thetford's non CIA colleague and frenemy. Apparently they had a contentious and strife filled relationship.
I tried reading ACIM many years ago on the recommendation of an internet "friend" (said person turned out to be batshite crazy, and also majorly turned on me).
Anyways, I experienced a lot of odd things in connection with that book. For one, I would always get super sleepy when reading it for any length of time (didn't happen with any other books). I also noticed my ego getting bigger (though more in hindsight than at the time) rather than reducing. Still I persisted.
I stopped when I had a guidance dream warning me about the book and its negative influence on me.
Turns out that someone I was soon to become friends with (and have been for over a decade now), was reading it the same time as I was, and was also experiencing various odd things with it, and was told several times by his guidance to drop it (as well as told that it makes the ego bigger). When he first picked the book up in the store, he felt a heavy, jello like sensation in his lower centers.
Anyways, he was reading it also on the recommendation of that previously mentioned "friend". She also majorly turned on him as well.
Boy that was a weird time/cycle. T. Saturn was in my 1st, and T. Pluto was squaring my N. Saturn (ruler of my Sun and Merc and co-ruler of my Venus and Desc) and Moon conjunction (Moon rules my 12th).
Partly because of that book, I ended up getting psychically influenced by some negative entities (it was like that book and its effect opened up a door to them) at the time. It was a time of hard knocks learning and some major "red pilling" about the deeper nature of reality, and dark forces involved with humanity.
