Is it better for the Afghan people to be under the rule of the American globalist Empire or the Taliban? Are the Taliban themselves an arm of the Globalist Empire? Who's winning here?IP: Logged |

I mean, they were initially funded and helped by groups like the CIA, same as was Saddam Hussein. The US plutocrats (and their connected plutocrats in places like England, Israel, etc) likes puppets, until they stop being good little puppets and start to get some sense of independence. Reminds me a bit of the old Shakespeare* line, "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we start to deceive." *There is a deception in the above (True author was poet Walter Scott, but a lot of people mistakenly attribute to Shakespeare since it does sound rather Shakespearean). Right. Did the Taliban go rogue at some point? Do they believe theyve gone wrong, but are still playing the patsy? Clearly the US didn't leave piles of weaponry laying about without intent. Makes ya wonder. We've ofc been taught to hate and fear the Taliban, and believe the Afghani people must be rescued by the liberated West. I'm not sure that's the case. *my English grandmother quoted that line all the time and had no idea where it originated. Was just another English adage to her. It's a good one. IP: Logged | |
