Sad because so many businesses barely made it through the lockdowns. Now they have to spend more resources to check ‘passports’ and they have to exclude customers and lose business. Will be interesting to see what NYC becomes as a result of this system.I am really wondering whether this will spread or if it will go away. I wonder what the world will look like in 5 years. What do you all think? Do you think these ‘passport’ systems will catch on or go away? IP: Logged |

I think NY is a test case. In my opinion the city will go bankrupt.Edit I think it depends what happens in NY weather or not it catches on. IP: Logged |

The dividing line is more apparent when you look at economic level. ie upper class Blacks have higher vax rates than lower middle class Whites.
So once again, the wealthy will do well and the not so wealthy are out of luck.

IMO, these NYers should unite and make a stand. Boycott any of these businesses one by one. Watch them fall. NY residents have more power in numbers if they do. Those companies need them. Failure will teach them a lesson. The residents lives are more important than the bottom line at venues. Imo IP: Logged |

MoonMystic, that would be a good idea but it’s a city-wide mandate. Businesses have to comply or they get fined. It’s called the “Key to NYC”. The government is trying to make it so that people who won’t take the COVID shot won’t be able to be a part of society. But those who take the shot get the ‘Key’ and ‘NYC opens to them’. harsh times. They will effect everyone despite jab/no jab because both are recorded as spreading it. Until they (one's who insert themseles as authorities over the many - HERD) say different, we all will all linger into the unknown. Some will do much better than other's. This is a huge cull. Dee,You make a good point, maybe it is a test case. We’ll see how they fare. But if they go bankrupt they’ll probably just get another bailout. They got a bailout in the COVID relief package, I think it was earlier this year. Bailing people, or cities or states, out of their own bad decisions only encourages more bad decisions. We can get groceries delivered through Amazon fresh.I think Whole Foods also works with Amazon Fresh.
