Thousands of Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) members in Victoria, Australia, have returned to the streets as hundreds of riot police are positioned for a stand-off. It will be interesting to see if the police are willing to go to physical battle against the construction workers.

The Union Leader, John Setka, called his union members “fascist morons” today and the union members are showing up in force to confront him and the police. The police would be idiots to take on this crowd still growing in size; which is to say they are likely stupid enough to do it…....

(Sky News) – The protesting tradies reportedly have a list of demands they want met including the resignation of Premier Daniel Andrews and Chief Health Officer Professor Brett Sutton. They are also demanding that the lockdown ends immediately and the mask mandate be removed............

It is interesting the insults leveled at people nowadays.

People implementing or supporting the implementation of unilaterally strict and restrictive policies that infringe on people's basic rights to work, to breath, to gather, to see people they love, to worship, to walk in the street, to turn down medical interventions or procedures on their body, such people are fixing their mouth to call others "FASCISTS".

The streets of Melbourne were plunged into chaos once again on Tuesday as anti-lockdown protesters clashed with riot police, forcing police vehicles to retreat as they smashed windows and hurled makeshift missiles.

Thousands of people defied the government’s stay at home orders to demonstrate against the increasingly authoritarian coronavirus restrictions in the Australian state of Victoria.

In footage shared on social media, police were seen fleeing the scene as protesters dressed in construction worker garb chased them away. A line of police in riot gear was then seeing firing rubber bullets and tear gas into the crowds....
