I posted the below statement in a different post and it was off topic, but I really want to get peoples' opinions. And when I say all peoples' opinions, I mean ALL PEOPLES' OPINIONS. I love to debate difficult topics and will not be offended if you present your point of view in a calm and respectful manner. No name calling, no personal attacks or condescension and I will do the same. But please, no talking points. I want your own personal opinion based on what you are personally seeing around you.

Someone please tell me why I must put aside my personal and religious beliefs while also endangering myself to some degree with an experimental vax that hasn't been adequately tested, if it's so wonderful and amazing and supposed to be protecting YOU? What is it protecting you from exactly? You can still catch and spread COVID. Okay, you won't get it as severely and fewer will require hospitalization....or so they say. That sounds like a treatment that should be optional, and not a TRUE immunization (we all know this is the case). Someone honestly please tell me why I must endanger myself and put my rights and beliefs aside to give YOU some semblance of perceived "safety." I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say several people in my small community have keeled over dead within hours of getting the vax, perfectly healthy ranging from 40-65 years old. My co-worker's husband is a policy officer and has responded to at least three 911 phone calls where someone's spouse has dropped dead. Each time it was an absolutely heartbreaking scene. I also know people who have been paralyzed and had blood clots and strokes. An NO ONE is liable if you're injured or die from the vax - not the vax manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, politicians, government officials, doctors or ANYONE!! Like WTF!?!?

Here's a thought that's been brewing in my mind lately. If you're vaxxed, you will supposedly have less severe symptoms but you can still catch and spread COVID. So, if you have caught COVID while being fully vaxxed and you have extremely mild symptoms (if any) you will be less inclined to self-quarantine or you will walk around with a false sense of security that of course you're not sick with COVID - you're vaxxed - duh!! So you're walking all over town spreading your COVID germs and getting literally everyone around you sick. I have seen vaxxed people do this. Meanwhile, I catch COVID and am not vaxxed and I have more profound symptoms. You bet your a$$ I'm going to be quarantining at home in an effort to protect the people around me. So, who's worse here??? Why are the "unvaxxed" being demonized for causing the virus to mutate if both vaxxed and unvaxxed are catching and spreading it?

Yet, many of the same people have a hard time understanding that I have the right to refuse to have a needle penetrating me and injecting me with some experimental substance. That I should not be coerced or bullied into saying yes. That I should not be losing my job for saying no. All of a sudden, for those people, the concept of bodily autonomy and sovereignty over one's body means NOTHING.
