Southwest Airlines had a turbulent weekend. The air carrier canceled more than 1,800 flights, blaming "poor planning," air traffic control problems and "disruptive weather," although no other carrier reported any major issues. The cancellations, which affected 27% of its flight schedule, happened days after Southwest pilots sued the airline over COVID-19-related changes to working conditions. The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association (SWAPA) maintained the "operational difficulties" were not part of a protest.p.S. Not sure if Air India was nationalized before and now they think Fascist orgs like Tata can better manage it. IP: Logged |
