“Though Abbott has hammered the Biden administration on its coronavirus policies, he has banned local cities and counties from implementing their own mitigation strategies, including vaccine and mask mandates that could help curb infections.”

You probably think that is some kind of genius analogy. Biden is not king. He tries to encroach upon states’ rights where the federal government has no Constitutional authority. What is not specifically granted to the federal government is reserved for the states. Whereas, cities only have the power that the states grant to them. Mayors and local officials defer to governors.

It's a very humbling position I'm sure. However, mature people will look the other way, and remain solidly positive-- say they're glad to Help! And, THAT's what Government is 'there' for. This also builds builds Trust. We MUST move on...

Some people have been able to know the right thing to do, because they can be educated by reading and good counsel. Other just need to learn another way. This one is by first-hand 'seeing' what results occurred when done by 'their own way' with lack of understanding.

It's okay I guess. It 'happened'. No amount of hostility blame or argument can really make a 'good' difference.

What we can do is say we have seen and LEARNED first-hand, the human science lesson is "proved" through seeing results. Now, they are richer in knowledge for having had Experience.

Hopefully, with leaving that aside, we can MOVE ON, and get people Healed. It's wonderful that our current Government HAS set aside enough funds to "cover" any State that is in calamity right now. ---

That's what the idea of Taxes and having a Central Government are for.

Coordination of nation-wide efforts, and getting finances to the places (and People) that NEED it most.
