The three liberal judges are saying idiotic statements such as thousands of children are on ventilators and that Omicron is as deadly as Delta. One would think a SCOTUS Justice would be educated about a topic they are ruling on. Like their Dem counterparts, they are grossly misinformed. Thank God for President Trump and the three conservative Justices he nominated! I think the OSHA rule is toast. The healthcare issue could go either way.IP: Logged |

Let’s give credit where it’s due. Sotomayor said that Omicron is as deadly as Delta. She also said 100,000 children are in hospitals—many in ventilators. And Kagan said that vaccination keeps people from spreading it. Where do these people get their information? Health officials say the exact opposite. They must get it from liberal news sources, which is why teasel thinks their misinformation is factual, when, in fact, none of it is true.Here’s some more insanity spouted by these liberal nut jobs—including a statement about police powers of the states versus federal authority that would have gotten me an F on a Constitutional Law exam in law school. Two lawyers arguing against the vaccine/testing requirement had to Skype in because they were sick with covid
Barrett’s nomination party was a super spread event that killed one/almost killed the Trump.

This is exactly the kind of nonsense one spouts when one gets one’s legal advice off Twitter. If someone had Covid, they would stay away from work or work remotely, just like what was done in the Court. These issues have nothing to do with Covid making people sick. It’s about the authority of the federal government and whether Biden and OSHA exceeded that authority. Promulgating a rule for an agency requires certain procedures be followed, including a comment period for the public. Even then, the rule would have to be within the statutory authority that Congress granted the agency. OSHA has no such authority. So, Congress would have to pass a law. Even then, such a law would be unconstitutional. OSHA only has authority to circumvent the normal process if there is a “grave danger.” That is a difficult standard to meet. Postponing implementation proved quite the opposite. Biden tried to use a “workaround” to bypass Congress. There is no workaround to the Constitution.
