The Russian ruble also crashed today, and the Russian stock market tumbled 33 percent before they stopped trading. IP: Logged |

"Let me add that Oligarchs are getting locked out and they lost about 40 Billion today as the Russian Market crashes."I saw that on twitter, but my mind is mainly with the regular citizens of Russia. IP: Logged |

Biden could stop the slaughter by going after Putin’s personal assets and bank accounts all across the world, locking Russia out of SWIFT, blocking Russia’s oil and gas exports, and sanctioning energy companies. Biden’s sanctions are like giving parking tickets in a riot. Biden wants to wait a month and see if the sanctions he imposed worked. We don’t have a month to wait. Moms and dads and children are fighting for their lives. We need to open up our pipeline again and reverse our vans in drilling, so we can supply Europe with energy. Russia is our third largest supplier of oil behind Canada and Mexico. We buy 595,000 barrels a day from Russia. Did we buy that 595,000 TODAY? We need to take drastic action. Russia and China are partners now. But they account for only 20% of the world economy. America makes up 50% of the world economy. We can make the ruble go into free fall. Biden claimed he didn’t issue sanctions beforehand because they were a deterrent, and now he claims try aren’t meant to deter. Which is it? Another thing we can do is prevent Russia from using microchips that are based on U.S. intellectual property. Other countries are doing more than we are. The EU and the UK are personally sanctioning Putin. Sports sanctions are kicking in. IP: Logged |

Russia is used to sanctions. They've anticipated them and that is also why they have made a sudden alliance with China and signed a 30 year agreement. If the US takes them out of SWIFT, Russian government can ditch the 600 billions of US dollars they already have and render the US dollar even more valueless. They have also been stockpiling gold for a very long time. They also back crypto mining and crypto currency because these along with gold are outside the SWIFT system. The price of gold is already going up. And the NATO countries heavily rely on Russian oil/gaz. So they are not really eager to push the Russian bear too much. We are in the midst of the winter in Europe right now. Do you really think they can do with a big cut in energy consumption right now?

Good points. I am sure the dollar can take the hit. We need to cut back on globalism and have countries become more self-reliant. We have warned Europe for years to stop suckling on the teat of Russia. America can supply Europe’s energy needs as well as our own if Biden would open up our energy back up. But he won’t. What a horrible leader. This is what happens when the far left gets in charge of things. They destroy the world. IP: Logged |

But it's not just NATO's dependence on Russia for energy. Russia has also managed to surpass the US in term of nuclear power with their SARNAC missiles that are non interceptable because their trajectory is unpredictable. Let that sink in. Russia could send a 15 megaton missile anywhere in the world and it would not be intercepted. Compare this atomic power to the Hiroshima bomb that was just 15 kilotons. NATO doesn't want to fight Russia militarily. Even China doesn't want to eff with Russia militarily. Hence the joint agreement they signed. The US has no agreement with Ukraine that would justify attacking Russia directly to defend Ukraine. And it would be literally suicide for the US to do so, and they know it. They never intended to, but their goal was to instigate a conflict so the Biden admin could position itself as "defender" of democracy and recover some of the popularity it has been steadily losing. They are willing to do ANYTHING to avoid the red wave they fear is coming in November. IP: Logged |

I think you nailed most of that. Except I do not believe that China fears Russia. And we surely do not. Well, Biden does. As it is presently going, even Ukraine is putting up a great fight. Russia could do some damage with a nuke, but the result would be a rain of nukes that would obliterate Russia. NATO reminded Putin of that when he threatened them. One thing is certain, though. Putin is evil. IP: Logged |

A truly sincere question. Do any of you really think that Biden makes any important decisions? Maybe it is actually the intelligence community/agencies that do? It is a documented fact that there are long time agents within the CIA, NSA, etc that have higher top secret clearances than the President and Congress members. If that doesn't tell you something very overtly and obviously, I don't know what would. I would echo what Belage (I think) said earlier somewhere else, use your brains and actually think. Stop buying into belief systems and this contrived left vs right bs. It only applies to us commoners. The true powers in this world, the billionaires and undocumented trillioniares (like certain families that have been in the banking business since at least the 1700's), DO NOT CARE about mundane politics and political identification. They laugh at us for getting caught up in these divisions and polarizations that they foster/facilitate through corporate media that they or their cronies own. Do you like being laughed at by people who think they are far superior to you? Do you like being deceived and manipulated by psychopaths? If the answer is no to any of the above, then f'ing stop fer Christ's sake! IP: Logged |
