There is no turning back now because the united states has a constitution. Government is described as an entity outside of We the people.

We the people are slaves to the government. Always will be. Period.

Trump would have committed an illegal act if he was responsible to command the insurrection without a valid reason. Hence Pence was quiet. If we reelect Trump in 2024. You still have a government capable of becoming corrupt and creating genocides on "We the people".
