I have no pre-conceived ideas on what it's going to show, but it is really weird that the SF DA's office fought for the video to not be released, claiming people could use it to spread "misinformation". wth? IP: Logged |

Its very hard for you to have empathy for a fellow human being if they're not in your tribe. You'll make up an conspiracy theory you can to continue to dehumanize the other side. What happened is sad and your lack of empathy is sad.IP: Logged |

Not wanting to know the truth is sad. No one here lacks empathy for what happened to Pelosi. We can feel bad about his plight and want the facts at the same time; the two are not mutually exclusive.IP: Logged |

Why would you need a video to know the truth?a man in his 80s, married to a powerful woman who is loathed by republicans, and some of them wanted to kill her on January 6th. She’s had lies spread about her, by conspiracy theorists, and people who know better. IP: Logged |

How about empathy for the man who might be wrongfully accused or might have mitigating circumstances for the assault?Let us see the video and judge for ourselves! It is always a red flag when information involving adults is suppressed. IP: Logged |

I watched the video/audio, and it is confusing.It does show DePape breaking into the home, hitting a glass window and it is weird watching the glass shards flying on the outside of the house instead of on the inside. It made no sense... Not understanding how Pelosi was able to call 911 in the presence of his attacker on speaker phone...Why would the intruder/attacker let him call 911? Not understanding why Pelosi had a drink/cup in his hand when the police arrived. And why he didnt rush to the police after they door was opened to the police... Who exactly even opened the door... Anyhoo, when DePape attacked Pelosi with the hammer, that was horrible!! He needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. IP: Logged |

It seemed to me like he was trying to keep him from escalating. Trying to create a calm atmosphere. Let me just go to the bathroom, let me just get a drink. I saw the video accidentally. I saw police milling about and then suddenly the attack, and it was horrific. I wish I hadn't seen it. IP: Logged |
