No, they aren't. I live here, and DeWine said himself, that he hadn't asked Biden for help. Biden told him they would provide whatever he needed. Stop lying. Rump repealed regulations that Obama put in place. This is on him, but would he ever admit it? NOPE. IP: Logged |

How about you stop lying? FEMA has not offered any help. If you insist on blaming President Trump for regulations that he removed, then the blame automatically falls on Biden for keeping that in place. Why don’t you forget about blame for the derailment? What about not receiving any help? Illegal migrants get hotels, but nothing for these residents? I hope you mean that you live in the state of Ohio and not East Palestine because those people are going to have some serious health issues.  IP: Logged |

After Governor DeWine announces that East Palestine is "not qualified for assistance," FEMA reverses denial of aid to East Palestine. quote:

Federal Emergency Management Agency
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Regional Administrator Thomas C. Sivak and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine issued a joint statement Friday insisting that the national agency has been working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency since “day one” of the Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. The agency added a Senior Response Official and a Regional Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) will be sent to the site to “support ongoing operations” provide “ongoing assessment of potential long term recovery needs.”
Evidently, "ongoing operations" does not include cleaning the water supply of these toxic chemicals that the governor says is safe to drink! Whoever told him this needs to be fired immediately.
