DeSantis administration requires events at the Capitol ‘align’ with its mission

The Department of Management Services, which oversees state facilities, over the past few months has changed rules for groups or individuals who want to reserve space inside the Capitol.

Censorship!

She's just quacking again

Politico ran a story about it yesterday. They didn't link to the Dept of Management Services letter though. As far as I'm aware it hasn't been made public. So really who the hell knows.

That said, teasel is sharing a questionable headline.

Apparently requests by advocacy groups/lobbyists for space *inside* the capitol complex must be requested thru the corresponding agency and must align with that agency's mission. ie (pay attention here, teasel) If you're representing the Florida School Boards Association (a private advocacy group) and you're looking to "educate" Fl state reps before a vote, you must 1) run it thru the Dept of Ed and 2) intend to educate regarding that vote in particular

"demonstrating", defined as picketing, parading, speech making blah blah etc will be less regulated and allowed, as always, outside the capitol complex.
