I hope you can grasp the difference between a state using tax payers money to go after Trump, and people donating money of their own free will to Trump's cause?... Think about the things the state could have done with that $200 millions of taxpayers money instead.

But, they didn't want to stop any of those things.  Btw, $48,000 is the starting pay for police officers in NY city. NY Police pay

Leftists do not care about increasing police force because they think crime is not an issue. Therefore this will not appeal to them. However, how about the homeless crisis and improving shelters, better housing, better medical care for underserved populations of NY... Or even more money in the so called BIPOC programs...
