We finally get to find out what is going on. Tucker's contract is through 2024, so he is still being paid. He only made $8 million a year (not $20 million). But he was offered over three times that by OAN!

I have not looked at the contract, but there could be contractual limits on what he can do while he is still under contract with Fox even after they fired him...

I doubt FOX wants to lose (settle) another court case. A noncompete clause when coupled with a firing could be challenged on the basis of the contract being unconscionable.
