Deplorables wasn't offensive. We wore it proudly. It completely backfired on her. I’m proud to be a deplorable and to share a basket with other deplorables.

This disposition of always serving those in power and following them blindly is deeply ingrained in the psyches of people. Especially the soldiers who fought a condemned war (Vietnam, Iraq etc.).. Shame on leaders of America since WW2. Shame on soldiers of America who followed these leaders blindly. But I understand if it was circumstantial for them.
