After 5 years, that loser got off with no jail time on charges that would have gotten anyone else 10 years in prison just for the gun charge, and they failed to follow the money for the $2 million he lied about on his tax returns for 2 years because it would have led straight to Biden. Biden wants to go after guns and send the IRS after waitresses. Hunter only gets 2 misdemeanor tax charges on his record and prettier intervention for the gun charge.

CNN published the audio tape. The same CNN who will not publish Hunter tapes... Predictable of course...

Anyway, on the tape, Trump is being heard saying "look" a few times as he apparently shows them the documents. I don't think he will be able to argue that he just waved the documents at them.

He even said these documents were highly confidential, and that he could not declassify them. Not sure what he meant, but I am sure they will use his words against him, nothing new here. He sounds like someone trying hard to impress the people in the room, so naive and susceptible to flattery. They are kekeing with him, but one of more of them leaked the tape to the DOJ.

Reasonable doubt, Actually, it could have just been a newspaper clipping that mentions an issue for which there is some corresponding confidential document. He said that “this” would exonerate him (or something to that effect). But he can’t [go back in time to ] declassify it now. That would make more sense from the audio. And there is no clear and convincing evidence that President Trump allowed them to read anything at all. He “showed” them something.

The “Iran attack plan” that former President Donald Trump is accused of keeping at his Mar-a-Lago home is reportedly not among the 31 documents Trump has been charged with retaining — renewing doubts about whether it exists.

The mysterious document is at the heart Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump, which included a transcript of a recording of Trump talking about a supposed plan to attack Iran, which he said he had opposed. The recording, which was leaked to CNN, includes Trump talking about a “secret” plan from Gen. Mark Milley that he said he could have declassified as president that would disprove the claim Trump wanted to go to war.

Asked about the incident by Fox News’ Bret Baier earlier this month, Trump said: “I didn’t have a document per se. There was nothing to declassify. These were newspaper stories, magazine stories, and articles.”

On Tuesday CBS News published a report that may corroborate Trump’s explanation, suggesting that if such a document did exist, it was not among the documents seized by the Department of Justice, or in the indictment:
