Seven counts from the DOJ. Biden had documents from his time as a Senator and as a VP, so he was not authorized to declassify them. The Dems are terrified of President Trump. And it is no accident that this happened the same day that it was confirmed that Biden received $5 million in bribes. This will catapult President Trump even higher in the polls. President Trump has been ordered to appear in Federal court at 3:00 pm in Miami on Tuesday. It involves obstruction and mishandling of documents. Biden mishandled classified documents for decades and should be charged. Obstruction involves intent. Negotiating over keeping personal documents is not intent to obstruct. The Presidential Records Act applies--not the Espionage Act. SCOTUS will reverse any conviction.IP: Logged |

If you think it's okay that Trump did all of this, then it must be okay for anyone else. Or, if it isn't okay that they did it, then it isn't okay that HE did it. The others you mentioned, returned the documents, and didn't obstruct justice. I'm off to celebrate. I DGAF anymore. IP: Logged |

I figured you would be celebrating, since you don't care about the rule of law. But I am happy you're celebrating. You can also celebrate the four years under President Trump that you will soon face. Garland belongs in prison. No one has to cooperate with the government when under investigation. That isn't obstruction. Obstruction involves criminal intent. No, it's not okay that Biden did it. Your logic is flawed. Biden wasn't President at the time, so he did not fall under the Presidential Records Act. IP: Logged |

I wasn't even thinking about this, when I said I didn't want to be here, even if something happened that I liked. I'm just expressing the same happiness that you do, whenever republicans get away with something. Or when you think democrats are being punished. I was thinking about one of my own threads, from April, I think. IP: Logged |

Here are some of the expected charges: The willful retention of national defense information, corruptly concealing documents, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and making false statements. If violation of the Espionage Act is one of the charges, it is even more ridiculous because that requires President Trump acted willfully, intentionally, or knowingly to violate the law. They are going to focus on obstruction, so they can differentiate Biden from President Trump. IP: Logged |

Trump is part of the fold. His uncle was part of the crime when it stole Teslas documents meant for the public after his death. To safeguard what? US dominance? If they do not have evidence-- it would mean they are helping him by socializing masses who will route for Trump in the elections. If they do -- Trump is in serious trouble. It could still mean public outrage --and they will attack the capitol again , but this time they will dissolve the government. lets see how it goes.

And we are going to vote President Trump back into the White House again. All of these charges are bogus. Congress passed the Presidential Records Act to govern Presidents and ex-Presidents. That is the governing statute. But Biden took a $5 million dollar bribe, so let's address real crimes from where they actually occurred, shall we?IP: Logged |

Just a big coincidence! Right! Check!June 9, 2023 7 reasons to be highly skeptical of the legitimacy of the indictments of Trump Thomas Lifson The timing of the announcement — controlled by the Justice Department’s decision to inform President Trump — coincides with evidence of serious allegations of a $5-million bribe of then–vice president Biden by a foreign national reaching Congress. A perfect way to crowd out news coverage. The decision to inform Trump of charges came on the same day that members of the House Oversight Committee were granted access to a FBI report into an allegation of bribery, while Biden was vice president. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2023/06/7_reasons_to_be_highly_skeptical_of_the_legitimacy_of_the_indictments_of_trump_.html

President Trump actually followed the law, as well as precedent set by the court with Bill Clinton. Ever since then, it was the official position of the DOJ. Alvin the Chipmunk Bragg perverted the law and turned a state bookkeeping misdemeanor into a federal felony, and now this DOJ twists a civil offense into criminal. Insanity.IP: Logged |

Counts 6a and 6b of the indictment lists the main pieces of evidence they could use to find him guilty. In July-September 2021, DT couldn't resist bragging about and showing off to certain people who did not have security clearance the classified documents he had in his possession. I am sure many other presidents have done so and the DOJ has not gone after them. But when you're DT, and you know you are under a TDS microscope, maybe you should be a little more careful, knowing that whatever you do and say will be used against you. IP: Logged |

That is the only real shred of "evidence" they have against President Trump. Everything else is a manufactured obstruction of a crime that doesn't exist. President Trump could just say that he was bragging and waving it around. There is no evidence of anything otherwise. IP: Logged |

Are you saying that "I was just bragging and waving it around" is going to be the crux of the defense? What if they can prove that he actually showed them the document, not just waving it around? IP: Logged |
