I like and respect Tucker so I watched what he had to say. The flaw in his argument is that Barack Obama was one of the few senators against the war in Irak when the US went in, and it was one of the things on his records that he ran on in 2008, yet he was not savaged by the Deep State and the military complex and the media. The problem is that Trump lacks Obama's finesse and Trump's own words can easily be used against him. For instance, his comments about Mexicans in 2015 needlessly alienated a huge segment of the Latino population who would have heartily voted for him. He could have worded his sentiments differently. Trump's mouth continues to be his biggest problem, though the base continues to think it's his biggest asset. So what gives? IP: Logged |

Finesse? A polished turd is still a turd. Obama outright lied about "keep your doctor, keep your plan," but because his forked tongue did so eloquently, we should overlook the substance of those lies? The backroom deals Obama had to do to get the Affordable Care Act passed were disgusting. I'd take crass reality over fake niceness any day. IP: Logged |

False dichotomy. You don't have to have finesse to make your point eloquently and truthfully. You just have to be level headed. Many in the base excuse or even approve of the reckless way Trump runs his mouth. The question is, how is it working for ya? How did running his mouth by bragging about classified documents worked for DT? How did saying "you can grab'em by the ***** " worked for DT? The jury awarded that accuser the millions she was seeking, because she used DT's words against him, and they convicted him of sexual assault, not of rape. Speaking of telling the crass reality, how about admitting for a start, that DT is a knucklehead? Basically come Nov 2024, the choice is going to be between a knucklehead and the puppet satanist. Sometimes what President Trump says is taken out of context, but it is what it is. Knucklehead? President Trump is brilliant.IP: Logged |
