What is with “the right” and their need to get children into the work force?

Is she providing easy prey to hungry sex predators like Trump in the pretense of allowing work?

There’s a difference between allowing and forcing—something tyrants and followers of tyrants don’t understand.

Don't try to explain this crucial difference to adults who don't want to work and prefer to be on the public dole.

I don't think it's a bad idea for 14-15 year olds who wants to make some pocket money to get a part time job, as long as the employer follows strict labor codes and there is a cap on number of hours worked. I know plenty of kids way younger that work selling lemonades on the sidewalk. Should that be forbidden? I am old enough to remember when teens used to distribute newspapers and mow their neighbors yard for money. We were very happy to find those jobs and I don't recall anyone being scarred or abused by those activities.

Exactly! At 14, I bagged groceries. I also mowed lawns.
