The idiot infesting the WH wanted zero carbon from automobiles by 2050. Agencies have no authority to make such decisions unless approved by Congress.

This nut just keeps pushing the administrative state nonsense.
Thankfully, federal judges keeps shutting Biden down.

Next, Biden will be forbidding volcanoes from spewing CO2 and other green house gasses into the atmosphere. Good luck with that.

Federal judge in Lubbock strikes down Biden regulation on greenhouse gas from vehicles

A federal judge in Lubbock struck down a Biden Administration greenhouse gas emission rule, which was announced in 2021, published in the federal register in late 2023 and officially took effect on January 8.

The State of Texas sued the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) in December 2023 – choosing Lubbock and U.S. District Court Judge James Wesley Hendrix as the venue.

On Wednesday, Hendrix set aside all of the new rule. He delayed his own order by seven days to give the administration time to appeal. ...................
