Setting Daniel Perry free suggests that in Texas, it’s open season on protesters whose cause isn’t approved by the governor. http://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/greg-abbott-daniel-perry-pardon-rcna152769 He's a murderer, a rapist, and a pedophile. So, Greg Abbott thinks he's a wonderful person. Doesn't give a **** about protecting the children, or anyone that he disagrees with. I'm guessing people here have no problem with this, either.

First of all, those weren’t protesters. They should all have been arrested. I fully support this pardon. The writer of that article is an idiot. If a crowd of angry people surround my vehicle, and one of them has a gun, my life is threatened by those circumstances. I am on high alert. He didn’t open fire on all of them. The question is what would a reasonable person think under the same or similar circumstances? He felt his life was threatened, so it was self-defense. The moral of the story is don’t surround someone’s vehicle. That isn’t protesting. IP: Logged | |
