We found out that EVs don't work in extreme cold. Now we are finding out that the batteries go out in warm temps! People are getting stuck inside their EVs when the batteries cut off at 97 degrees! No charging stations, so you can't travel. The cost is prohibitive. And creating an EV impacts the environment many times what a gas vehicle does over its lifetime! Not to mention the child slave labor involved to obtain the rare earth minerals.
