Their internal polling must not be good for her.

Those condescending facial expressions said it all.

Apparently, the Harris campaign doesn't realize body language carries at least as much weight with viewers than what the candidate says.

President Trump posted on Truth Social:

quote:
“When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH,'” Trump said in a Thursday Trust [sic] Social post. “Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate.”

The instant polling showed Dems taking a sharp dip in interest as President Trump spoke, but that contrasted with a high peak when he spoke among not only republicans but also with Independents. That’s a “win” by any metric of success.

On the live real-time graph, Independent voters were yellow. They shot sharply up right along with Republicans. Very interesting.

The latest Rasmussen poll (one of the reliable pollsters) has President Trump up 2 over Harris - post debate. She didn't move the needle. Brian Fallon, her campaign manager, must be concerned, to say the least.

I am not going to automatically assume she calls for a rematch because she thinks she lost.

It could be quite the opposite, that she thinks she did well, and that she and her team think they can beat Trump again in a rematch.

I saw a lot of people cheering her body language. Did those people you quoted as not liking her facial expressions, have an opinion on trump's one facial expression? That angry pout.

They're biased towards republicans.

This, because she can.

I do wonder what Tulsi told him to do. How she prepped him, and if he listened at all. Because he's always going to do his own thing.

No dear, not automatically assuming. I'm sure that she and her campaign are well aware of the post-debate polls. She didn't move the needle. He's taken the lead nationwide and in Michigan.

Harris desperately needs another debate. Yes, she got to President Trump, but no one knows anything about her of substance. She needs another chance. She failed in the primary objective because she was only focused on eliciting an emotional response from President Trump.

Mark Halperin today:

quote:
The Harris campaign wants another debate because they think they need it because she didn’t do a full, adequate job of introducing herself to the country, convincing them that she’s ready to be president and she’s got specific plans.

Waiting for the polls that come out this weekend to see if they corroborate the ones immediately following the debate.

President Trump should only agree to a debate if it's on FOX. She is a coward and knows she can't defend her positions.

I think he shouldn't do any more debates, including Fox. They're not friends. It'll be a disservice to the electorate to have her use the forum in bad faith to repeat lies and hoaxes.

They may not be friends, but the moderators would be fair and balanced and call Harris out on her lies, which is why she is a coward who will only debate when she gets cover by the moderators. She would have never repeated those debunked myths unless she knew ABC would allow her to go unchecked.
