Tuesday, we will hear from the three potential choices, and the vote will be on Wednesday. I think Rick Scott will be the choice.

Normally, I would agree with you. Mitch refused to bring votes to the floor that he didn’t like. Only Rick Scott will ensure that President Trump will get the nominations he needs to run the country fast. Some took two years last time! That is unacceptable.

Why do you think so?

He has always strongly supported President Trump. The other two have a lot of experience, but we don’t need another person that has any doubts.

I'm thinking about the likelihood of the majority of Senators voting for Rick Scott when there are only a handful of Senators who support President Trump and his agenda.

A source within the Senate GOP has leaked the whip count:

Cornyn - 18
Scott - 11
Thune - 24

Sundance @ The Conservative Treehouse thinks President Trump will not expend political capital on this. We'll see.

The pundits are wrong so much, I don’t know. This choice is an important one. The mid-terms could be corrective if a lot doesn’t get done. Votes can always change between Tuesday and Wednesday. The other two do say that they support President Trump and have been in the Senate much longer, but President Trump hasn’t spoken about it yet. He is doing things differently now. He needed help navigating the swamp last time, and he made bad choices and enemies along the way. He wants loyalty this time. I’m still going with Rick Scott. But we shall see.

Just heard on FOX News from Senator John Kennedy that this whip count circulating the internet is fake.

Elon Musk has endorsed Rick Scott today.

Senator Kennedy is voting for Cornyn. I'm skeptical of his claim that the leaked whip count is a fake.

Josh Hawley... is also voting for Cornyn.

Sheeny, just elected Senator for Montana, voting for Thune. Rhino.

John Thune opposes pardons for J6 patriots.
John Cornyn fully supported the J6 committee and is a big fan of Christopher Wray.
