President Trump announced at a UFC event that he was going on TikTok. Had TikTok been banned in the U.S., that could have been the end of the app. While I agree that there are some issues with China, those issues can be mediated. Out of the top 10 TikTok videos in 2024, 8 were from President Trump! And 5 of those were from the last few weeks of the campaign (including McDonald's, garbage truck). Yes, Barron Trump had greater political advice (the podcasts also) than all the Harris overpaid pundits. Incredible.

There are issues with China, but banning Tik Tok would have set a terrible precedent for a government to shut down any social media platform it disapproved of.
