The 500 billion dollar deal is off the table. This is a joined fund for mining and reconstruction. This is not about Zelensky wanting money, this still is Trump trying to make money of the back of destitute people, just like with Gaza. Why did Zelensky start talking about a ceasefire once he found out he could be making money? Such a quick change of mind!The Gold Card ensures that we get people in our country who will invest and hire. This is a huge difference from illegal immigrants being paid billions like Biden did. Those payments will stop! Everyone will be vetted.
About one million are expected to take the deal immediately, but millions could over time. The money collected will be earmarked for paying down the national debt. This program has been around for years for those who agree to invest in our country. Biden also used it. President Trump just placed an entrant fee on it. It’s rich talking about morality in light of all the payments from China that went into fake LLCs to be distributed to Biden’s family members! I think the $500 billion was part of the "Art of the Deal." President Trump never expected to get it. It was just the start of negotiations. Zelensky wants to sign the deal in person on Friday. I’ve just seen another girl say that her father, who voted for Trump, finally stopped supporting him yesterday. That was a step too far for him. However Zelensky never wanted to and used the opportunity of a publicly televised meeting to publicly express his grievances and his reluctance to sign the deal. Zelensky knew the US mainstream media is going to be on his side, so will the European media. This was a gamble he took. I think Zelensky is ready to ditch American support, in the hope that the Europeans will compensate for that loss, by having the NATO alliance join him in the fight against Russia. If Zelensky and his people want to continue fighting, I respect their desire to do so. And they should not be pressure to accept any deal.But as a tax paying American, I don't want the US to spend anymore of our tax dollars on this war! And I am pretty sure the majority of American taxpayers do not want to continue shelling out money for this war. WE HAVE DONE ENOUGH ALREADY! We have other more pressing financial priorities. No, Zelensky was set up by Trump and Vance to make him look like the bad guy in front of the media. This was intentional. And they failed. Trump made himself look like a bully. There’s a European summit today, they will talk about defending Europe against Russia without the support of the U.S. And even though he wasn’t on the official list, Trudeau is also joining as a representative of Canada. So yes, when it comes to this is basically a NATO summit without the U.S. Trump has turned his back on his allies and has unofficially aligned the U.S. with Russia. This is why there’s a purge in the U.S. military. This is why former general Mark Milley called Trump dangerous. Good for Europe and the UK. They should be spending way more if their own money. They don’t have much of a war machine between all of them. They have been sucking on the American tear instead of building up their own defense capabilities. President Trump sees the big picture. You are still playing checkers. This is leading dangerously close to WWIII, which you apparently want for some reason. What do you think will happen when their boots hit the ground in this war? Nope, this isn’t about “publicly” supporting Zelensky while urging him to reconcile privately. Europe and Canada are actively thinking of a strategy that doesn’t include the U.S. as a reliable ally anymore. Trump is sitting on Putin’s lap.
