I do applaud putting a break on the agenda the left has been pushing on us in the past few decades. We can represent history as it happened and not sugarcoat uncomfortable or ugly parts of our US history.

But unfortunately the left took this as a mandate to transform our institutions into ideological bastions for a certain type of CRT vision of the world. The goal was to divide people, because division is the best but most sinister way to rule over people.
