I've been together with a Cap sun, Aqu venus for six years (living with each other the last two) and the fear of failure aspect is definitely there!! He gets in moods--like today--were it goes like this: "I feel like I'm not doing anything with my life . . . I'm a loser" and I say, "Well, what would make you happy? Maybe you need a goal?" "I want to make money." "Ya know, having too much money can corrupt." "It doesn't have to be money, I just want to walk into a place and hear people wispering "That's Nick!' But, I don't want my face plastered all over magazines and TV's, I want prestige." That was true dialog spoken today and it is always on his mind. My Cap will never berate me in public if he is mad, but if he happens to notice another guy make eye-contact with me, I'll get a cold glare. Ice cold. As far as passion, he was very polite--a gentleman--before we made the commitment to each other. After that, the heat went up. I've never found my bf to be cold or undemonstrative about love or romance, even though he has a Pisces moon and mars. That's a little odd . . .Anyhow, at least he always holds my hand in public. It is actually more like a "Public Ritual" for him, though. But, they are loyal and chivalrous, and care very much about how others value them, so the biggest mistake is putting them down or trying to lower their standards. If you want to win points, just tell him how proud/honored/appreciative you are of him or anything he does. If you are really independent, you two might have to come to some real compromises because they like to be somewhat in control and not quesioned or humiliated (who does?). Quick changes--even little ones--can throw them off and frustrate the plan they have laid out. And the last thing I can think of (and the best) is that they are very loving and fun. My bf and I are best friends and whatever we do together--doesn't have to be anything at all--we have a blast. Right up until he sees people coming the other way on a hike and quickly has to snatch the lunch pail from me before they notice "that man making his gf carry everything." Don't worry, he handed it back after they passed . . . Honestly, they are funny people, sometimes with a dark humour, but other times with a silly, playful humour. Good guys!! IP: Logged |
