i posted this in the Astrology 2.0 forum, but i was advised to post it here too, so here i am! can anyone give any insight on this aspect? mine's pretty close, 2 degrees apart with my Sun in Libra and Uranus in Capricorn. i have read some descriptions online, and they do say people with this aspect rather feel like an ousider in terms of social groups. i can really relate to this, since my way of having fun is just so much more different than other people my age consider it to be. i'm just wondering, is it always going to be hard to 'fit in' and form true relationships, since we do pretty much feel like we don't belong.
for example, whenever i have someone who wishes to spend time with me, i feel as though they feel a sense of shame being seen with me? and that they find it hard to truly accept me. i can be quite awkward, but i'm generally friendly, but it just seems that whenever i do get people that are perfectly comfortable with spending time with me, i kinda have to pinch myself as it seems so rare... I dunno, the only thing that comes to mind is "have you accepted your quirks and those of others" cos until you accept your semi outsider status It's gonna be rough going.I have sun sq uranus too, so for some reason I meet other sun/moon/asc aquarius or uranus people too and we connect on that level, we get it. I dont think you should expect other people to get that side of you, in general, because there are a lot who arent attuned to that energy and cant connect with it.....in general I'd say not to worry about them, but that's just my stance, cos I don't. I don't ask to be accepted I just get on with my business, doing what makes me happy, haha! which sounds so Uranian now that I think about it cos they dont think about other people. Uranian energy can be really selfish and selfcentered. IP: Logged |

My, my, how I have changed since this post haha. Lonake's reply really resonates with me now, I have accepted my quirks and fully love myself and really don't care what anyone thinks of me, but I guess that also comes with age. And I agree about attracting Aquarians with this aspect, my partner is Aquarius as is my best friend. Although, my Mercury and Mars sq Uranus, and Moon tr Uranus are also contributing to that. I love my Uranian aspects. IP: Logged |

Mannequin, it's good to hear you have accept yourself. I think it is also important too! To accept yourself first. I love hearing success stories <3I am more Neptunian and don't know what I am doing here, but sometimes feel like an outcast too. I can enjoy the regular things but in small doses because I eventually float off in my own world. My friend has the square (Uranus), it has been months since I last spoke with her. Miss her a lot but I know she's enjoying her own thing. IP: Logged |

Oof, yes. Ami has it with that one. I have Sun square Uranus. I really never notice it [I don't think?] I'm out of touch with Uranian energy on the whole. It freaks me out. Even though I have (also) venus squaring Uranus and Mars conjunct it.I have groups and friends and all that good stuff. But if I think about it, I do end up feeling sometimes like the only one that feels differently about something that everyone else agrees on. IP: Logged |

I have sun opposed Uranus, Uranus conjunct ascendant, and so on, and usually feel the same way. I think it’s weird that when Uranus was conjunct my sun, I became more mainstream (a bit) politically. When Uranus transited my fourth house, we stopped moving. I’d been moved around my entire life. IP: Logged |

Teasel, I became more vocal regarding politics when my progressed sun moved into Aqua. Now I have my prog sun, merc, and venus in Aqua. I read and research a wide variety of topics, politics being a main one. But I still don't have the energy to debate with anyone over it. Lol.IP: Logged |
