I got a response. (We have each other's email) All I have to say is that if you doubt the POWER of intuition, don't. It's almost freaky! I can't elaborate further. IP: Logged |

Thank you for your reply venus2. I saw it on my way out last time and wasn't a good time to reply but it touched me very much. I've not really been in a good place to reply thoughtfully so I will pick this up soon as I have more to say too X IP: Logged |

Wow. It's just hit me how I always take people at their word. No wonder I'm always being called naive. I suppose this latest thing isn't a huge deal. I'm just confused. *edit. I'm over it now. IP: Logged |

Mirage, I missed your posts. Thank you! I think the heavy transits have eased off a bit, except for Uranus conjunct my Ceres, Chiron, and Sun. She was admitted to the hospital when Uranus was exactly conjunct them all. It seems like the last time she was entirely lucid, was when I spoke to her on the phone, three weeks ago, when I just burst into tears and couldn't stop crying, until something made us both laugh. I miss her. Oh, I also have Neptune square Neptune, and she has Saturn moving back towards her Sun. I hope that isn't a bad sign.

I hope that you don't think I'm somehow abusing your thread, Teasel. Or anyone else. It's really a great thread and I enjoy letting some of my thoughts spill out here. Even if only 1 or 2 were to read it, or 100. Doesn't matter. Here's another! The other day at work, I was thinking about the punishment that ensues from idiots. Maybe it's mostly in America, but while America may be over the top, some other countries are getting there. We have these machines at work. Enormous, well, they are to me. You can walk inside of them. There's such RIDICULOUS safety regulations. There's Polycarbonate doors (Bascially plastic glass. LOL ) So you can easily see inside. So if I'm inside, even a 1' inside, I have to lock it out. Like, really? I could be physically BLOCKING the effing door! "Oh no. Someone might come along, shove you inside, shut the door, and start the machine. So stupid. I understand making sure energy sources are relieved. I've seen stored energy do some unexpected things. We can't just turn it off or lock it out at the power switch with a lock. No, no. That has to be done at the big switch on the wall. I can't even express what I really feel. It makes me really, irritated. "Rushing is proven to increase injury risk. But we still need you to do 10 things at once until 9 a.m. Same with frustration so don't" I'm frustrated that THEY would be that stupid. That they think I'm fooled that because they SAY something, and expect our actions to really be sort of counter to that. It's almost like a setup. So because some people are careless and sue for it, we ALL have to be punished by being treated as if we wear diapers. Seriously? If we're that incompetent then why were we hired? "We like your technical skills but I wouldn't trust you with a screwdriver." I'm exaggerating but that's how it feels. Oh yes, I forgot where I was going. So now we have warning labels EVERYWHERE. Procedures to follow, etc. Oh but it's for our own good. Well what if we're just not that dumb? Too bad. I saw on a TV show about an amphibious vehicle. Warning to wear appropriate clothing because if you fall off, "Water can be forced into the anus or vagina." I didn't make that up. To some extent, I can see where it's warning people about things that they may not have considered. On the other hand. Some of us weren't locked in a padded room all of our lives. Think about it. Can you IMAGINE the amount of money that is possibly, needlessly wasted when common sense, which is free, could have prevented it. Ridiculous. /rant IP: Logged |

Well they could, if they wanted to kill you and they'd turned off the security cameras (?) quote: Originally posted by DopGang: "Rushing is proven to increase injury risk. Yes. Go be rich. What are you complaining about? You just, do it. You just, be rich. See? I'll show you. Like that. Just be rich. (There's something wrong with me today. I honestly feel really good, but I'm not coming off that way. ) IP: Logged |

^^ Well if it helps at all. I enjoy you here and what's more I look forward to your input on things. Not everything positive that you bring to the world, to others, to yourself has to be tied to what you do. (In a traditionally thought of way I guess, such as work, etc) That actually was a lesson for me. Sometimes it's your presence. Some of your coworkers I'm sure enjoy having you around. You might make someone else have a better day from a laugh, an inside joke, an ear there to listen, knowledge and experience to lean on. Just to know that you're there and if they truly need help that they have someone that can help. All kinds of these things that are intangible, but useful, positive, and wonderful, but not always immediately known. Which is a shame, honestly. Weirdly there's connections in my response here to my vent that I edited. I must say though, what I considered a "vent" should be anything but a vent. I felt, confused and strange. So I killed it.
