Padre, why are you always so confusing? Did you not see my first comment on this thread? Do you really think I need to be told what's going on? YTA, I don't know what you're generalizing about. It just seemed like you were saying we would all be sour grapes because your son's report card is magnificent. Why should anyone be bitter about that? Do you think that because Hera is a doctor, she's the only other person here who succeeded academically? Considering how many members speak several languages, I'm positive that you and she aren't the only ones in the elite A+ grades club. And even those of us who didn't fare as well aren't necessarily jealous or wanting to belittle anyone's accomplishments. There's no point in even saying this, I just hate to have people wish you well, and get paid back with insults. Over and out.

My grades were crap. Anyway, let's just drop it. You don't understand where I'm coming from, and so I won't aggravate the situation by explaining myself and thus getting into a further confrontation.IP: Logged |

Not all my grades were perfect and they didn't care about my highschool transcript when I went into med school. Things are different from the way they are in the US. They say Romanian students are well prepared, idk what to say about that. I have had colleagues that are now doctors that were not very good students, in high school or otherwise. I know in general people look up to doctors by default but it might not always be well deserved. Congratulations again, YTA! There is no doubt he will get very far. May I ask, is he certain he wants to do medicine? I mean, I know he might want to, from an ideological pov, but in day to day life things are different than the way we imagined them when we were growing up and dreaming about embracing this career. There are compromises you have to make that are not easy. Not to mention dealing every day with sick people can take a toll on a more sensitive person. If I remember well, he has Cancer Moon? Aqua Sun can help him detach, I guess, and see things from a rational/scientific pov, but his Moon.. I have Moon conj Neptune and there are cases I take way too personally when I shouldn't. Where is his MC/MC ruler? He is very talented at music, doesn't he want to pursue a career in the arts? IP: Logged |

Suspect one is reading people wrong YTA, I think your kid is awesome and "get's it" Life is struggle, ain't no one fought harder then he has, and he's only 18, with prospects My Lord, if folks cannot see that, and the reason why you are prideful abt him then they probably need to have their souls recalibrated IP: Logged |

Damn right. I've learned this w/ my Mom. B*stards said she'd never breathe on her own again after her incident. She's breathing just fine! And on the verge of talking! IP: Logged |
