I absolutely love Sailor Moon. I really like Usagi/Serena. And Sailor Jupiter. As brunette I felt represented. Had a doll of her. Rini too. Especially could relate to her darkness phase where she had like a dark puberty episode. LOL My favorite villain was Vesves. Maybe it's because I'm an Aries and they are in show business and I use to do theater and dance. My favorite Disney fairy tale is Snow White! She is awkward AF in front of her love interest. The Dwarfs and forest animals add good comedy in the movie. OMG and I appreciate the queen's fashion sense as an adult. And I love that the cute forest animals clean for her, and push her haters off a cliff. I had all this Snow White stuff as a little girl. I also live where it's woodsy. Pretty much none.
Did not have television for most of my life (over 67 years to date)
Rarely could go to movies.
So yeah
Except for a few newer movies on Netflix
virtually no Disney or anime impact on my life.
Did not even have computer access until 2005.
The world keeps zooming by me as usual.

i don't like miyazaki personally, but i did enjoy avatar the last airbender when i watched it years ago recently watched ergo proxy which i really liked outside of a few episodes in the middle (14 was pointless, 15 was absolute **** , 16 was pointless, 19 was so ******* bad i was shocked) and semi recently watched ajin demi human which was enjoyable also actually got around to finally watching end of evangelion which i loved, and preferred to the show even (though i like the show to a point, the end was awful but end of evangelion fixed that) aside from anime as a kid i liked cartoons like rocko's modern life, invader zim etc and i enjoyed what i've seen of shows like adventure time and the regular show, foster's home for imaginary friends was enjoyable too i also absolutely love over the garden wall, rewatched that one recently IP: Logged |
