On a personal level, I don't care what your sexuality is. Are you a fine person? Do you have good character. What is the nature of your heart? I really don't see the externals such as race or your sexual orientation.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. I'm tired of people like Barbie being picked on. I don't care if you disagree with her, she's provided her reasons as to why she doesn't agree. Throw your 15 page diatribes at her and others that you don't agree with, she's made her opinion known and freakin' accept it. I have friends that very OPENLY discuss with me their political views about everything. I might not agree with them but I accept their view and I'm not going to criticise them about it. We might have a discussion but I won't finger point. Get over it folks, people are entitled to their opinions. IP: Logged |

It's always pick on Barbie or anyone who doesn't agree with the majority. It's very irritating. Then the insults start being thrown at me or my logic questioned or mocked. Things that I was confident sharing with you guys here thrown back in my face. Not cool. All that you said is exactly what I've been trying to say the whole time this was created. Thank you 23. Umm, dear, you said that people choose to be gay, which you have to admit is the most ridiculous load of old garbage ever. So you chose to be straight? You also say you're totally non-judgmental yet by the same standards you will be judging the gender preference of any future kids you might have and do everything in your power to prevent those choices. That's not particularly cool either. IP: Logged |

So uhm, engaging in actions is involuntary, like being left or right handed? This should be fun IP: Logged |

What's really annoying is when every little thing is supposed to mean so and so is gay and people think anything indicates it. If someone wears this or that hat it means they are gay. If a man has a lot of male friends, must be gay. Same with a woman, if she stands up for other women and shows them non sexual love and kindness, she has to be gay. It can't just be that someone has a kind heart. Everything boils down to who is gay and who isn't. Well, who cares?

Exactly, there's such a strong lobby out there it just gets shoved down everyone's throat. That's part of what Barbie and DF are arguing about. Everything stereotyped or hyped up and it's not only in relation to be being gay but about a lot other things. Most people in the world just want to get on with their lives you know, gay, straight , whatever. The sheer majority of gay people I know just do their thing and live their lives, it's this radicalism out there that just shoves it down everyone's throat. IP: Logged |

Besides if you aren't promiscuous and know what you want in life, it won't matter if someone says they are gay. So what? You know you don't want to sleep around so what does it matter if you know who you are? You aren't gonna sleep with someone just because they come on gay if you know who you are and what you want out of life. You just tell them flat out NO and that's that. No big deal let them be as gay as they want. IP: Logged |

Ahh, in the context of this thread, with morality put aside for a moment, the next question b/c if so engaged, are consequences known?
Let me expound a bit, since BBG expanded her opinion..not the same, the 5 tastes are based on the taste buds on the tongue and are somewhat universal (there are extreme cases of ppl with vastly fewer taste buds). To here talk about getting down, it is all sub conscious, and completely uncontrollable no matter the consequences. Not the first time this has come up + If Disney is a way to describe traditional marriage or relationships and anti Disney the real life of it all, then perhaps the darker sides, or consequences, of homosexuality should also be considered rather than merely sloganeering "Equality!" Blah blah blah, painting the same Disney fantasyland, only with "new" slogans

Padre - equality does not exist and the UN who tries to institute this legal format globally is a farce, political correctness is the root of all evil which is why Barbie is in the pickle that she's in and why the liberal lobby are ostracising her. By her being ostracised, it shows she's not seen as equal in their eyes anyway and is sneered at.DOWN with political correctness, oppression of opinions, the most evil thing Aquarius can come up with (coming from an Aquarian). Hey what's your moon/mercury if you don't mind? You're aqua correct? You seem different than many aquas. Like this guy at work is and he's different too. Very funny and chill... Cool headed and uses common sense. He's Taurus moon and I'd have to look what else. IP: Logged |

Lol. Who's repeating? I stated my opinion once in this thread. I think you're the one stating your obvious dislike and distaste for anything homosexual over and over. IP: Logged |

23..I have a bit of the glint of experience on all of this, what ppl should understand is the "acceptance" movement is merely co-option of what was once a fiercely individual choice that went counter cultural Like "tax pot and make it legal!" Now all are to be good State girls and boys, after all, why seek the State's sanction? W/o "strike the colours high" Spirit, things grow flabby That sort of fierceness has gone away, now it's more the bleeting of "we want the State to love us too!!!" In a way, it makes me a bit sick, Christians of all ppl should have seen the wolf at the door, instead we are arguing to remain in the tent rather than being like "**** you, we do not need your blessing for OUR actions" What the non trads do not realize is, their desire does not negate the way the State sees them..mere numbers..something to gain. Foolish really IP: Logged |

I didn't say now I'm stating generally... When you have people constantly referencing you, you'd do the exact same thing. And now your starting with me. Get the F over yourself. EDIT- You weren't stating your opinion, you were attacking and mocking what I said. IP: Logged |

The whole point is the "I will try to make my child see the right way to do things, not the wrong way." That's why Barbie is garnering all this attention. It's the question of how far will someone go to show their child the right way? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2595745/Oregon-mom-25-gu ilty-beating-4-year-old-death-thought-gay.html @PixieJane: I once worked with a woman that is a lesbian. She had the same thing happen to her as some of those links you posted. Her partner was in a car accident and she couldn't get in to see her. They had been in a relationship for 17 years and all she wanted to do was see her partner but wasn't allowed. I told the whole story to my mother, who had previously explained to me why marriage should be between a man and a woman only and she cried. I knew she had a great heart but sometimes people just need to be shown those stories to understand. This picture just makes me cry instantly. It's where a Christian group attended a Gay Pride parade and had signs saying they're sorry. I know that it might seem silly to some people but just to show support like that. . . I just cry from happiness. IP: Logged |
