Or maybe it'll be a financial crash that the federal reserve can't print enough money to compensate for lol IP: Logged |

I am a worry wort at times but I guess its like Doris Day says "Whatever will be, will be The future's not ours to see".If we are meant to be obliterated in apocalyptic events I don't think there would be much we could do about it.I think I heard there was a prophecy made about Ireland being swallowed by the sea.I hope it doesn't happen because I'm not a good swimmer lol I suppose could be worse though we could be out of coffee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd6aLnPHqeE&hd=1 IP: Logged |

It'd be weird if these Americans were infected purposefully so that this experimental drug could start getting some traction to start making some $$$. No money in Africa but if us/uk nationals get it then there's a market.IP: Logged |

Huge amounts of garlic are said to cure any virus like 25 cloves per a soup. It can kill Norwalk virus. One thing about Modern Medicine is that they never think in terms of simplicity lol Maybe, mega garlic could work ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Like cures like is Homeopathy. That was the root of the current vaccines, although they are far afield from homeopathy which can provide the same thing, in a safe way, but that is another can of worms lol ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Great points Vajra. It's more alarming to see the amount of panic being succumbed to than to have a few cases in the country. Panic generally precedes poor decisions and outcomes.IP: Logged |

I read this today and thought it hit the fear spreading fairly accurate. *Note, I am not downplaying the seriousness of this nasty virus but pointing out the fear that goes along with any unknown. quote:
Fear-bola is an airborne disease that spreads through conversation, entering your brain through your ears. Fear-bola is so contagious that some victims have contracted it by simply seeing images and videos about Ebola.

That's no surprise. They have a lot of doctors because it pays so much and gives them so much power (see sociolismo) there. Yet for all their high pay and power there's a surplus because they only take money or other favors so most locals don't benefit (an Argentinean friend who visits talks about how so many Cubans even beg her for aspirin when she comes and goes from the airport) and that means they can't get a lot of use out of them...so they send them abroad in waves, sometimes over a thousand a time, for about any reason, and they typically get paid...and while they're paid very low wages by international standards, it's a lot of money for someone from Cuba. Thus I'm neither impressed nor surprised by this "disproportionally big contribution" by Cuba. IP: Logged |

What I'm saying is it's no surprise this is ignored by the media, it's a non-story and there's nothing about it that's inspiring. And yes, most doctors are in it for the money, and I'd say that's even more true of Cuba. But that's beside the point. IP: Logged |

Helping to contain an outbreak is not inspiring? Oh well, I guess everybody gets inspired by different things. About being in it for the money - well, maybe in America. Over here it's not likely to be true. Many of my friends are doctors, some of them are with Doctors Without Borders, and none of them is in it for the money. But then our health system is very differently organized than yours and nobody gets filthy rich so easily as a doc over here, for that you would need to be an investment banker. In that line of work it is also less easy to catch Ebola. IP: Logged |

I must not be clear. What I'm saying is that their sending so many isn't some noteworthy event in of itself. I'm not saying it would be better if they didn't.I also didn't say all doctors were about the money, it's not an all or nothing thing. Doctors Without Borders is one of the rare charities I've supported with money. And I can believe that most doctors that you're friends with aren't all about the money, but that's a very different statement from saying most doctors (which you don't know) aren't. IP: Logged |
