I don't think we have connected much on LL, but I did not want to leave your thread without saying you are in my thoughts.I hope you and your friend's passage through this time is peaceful. I get a good feeling from your way of thinking. Sometimes the most healing thing we can offer someone is simply our presence. IP: Logged |

It's good you have that attitude because there is no such thing as an incurable illness anyways. There are natural cures for everything but Big pharma doesn't want you to know that. But all the information is out there. You just gotta know where to look for it (the internet). I learned that aspergers/autism can be cured by going on a gluten free diet and I tried it out and low and behold.. I'm noticing big changes in how I connect with and socialize with people. My mind has clarity now, it's unreal. IP: Logged |

You`re awesome Faith. ------------------ Christian, Jew, Muslim, Shaman, Zoroastrian, stone, ground, mountain, river, each has a secret way of being with the Mystery, unique and not to be judged. Rumi IP: Logged |

Faith,This was a really inspiring post, and I admire your attitude. Its not easy when those we love become gravely ill, and your proactive stance on being the wounded healer is something many are too afraid or tentative to do. And I haven't found any blogs (so far) by anyone who's decided to strike out on their own, treat her disease using whatever info is available on the internet, and survived. Unlike cancer, where virtually every single kind of cancer has an unlikely survivor telling you how they beat it. Anyway. The doctors scare people into taking drugs, and once those drugs are in the system, the natural approach holds less promise. I wonder if my friend would even have this condition if she hadn't been on *unnecessary* prescription meds for a few years before this. Yes to all of this. Very suspicious as to why the Gerson therapy got blacklisted in America, and a few days before he was going to present evidence on patients being cured of cancer that several of his files suddenly were 'stolen.' *sniffle* Thanks, T, I really do need a hug about all of this! And I promise you, you can never say too much to me. I'm interested in everything you have to say, sky's the limit. Honestly. Though, as this is a public forum, I do understand the need to be careful...I edit like crazy. @Bella Damn girl you ARE a conspiracy theorist! (And of course I mean that as high praise ) I didn't know that about Gerson, but it wouldn't surprise me. Very astute of you to link my paragraph with Gerson because yes, that's exactly who I had in mind, he is my go-to guy, my starting place. Most of it can be done at home but it shouldn't HAVE to be that way. Intensive cleansing, with monitoring to make sure the toxins get out instead of shuffled around, should be a legitimate option for everyone. I'm so glad you saw this post, you are one of the girls I wanted to mention this to, here instead of dragging it into the Bella thread. IP: Logged |

Keep the Faith, lady. "Incurable" just means hasn't been found yet. Once upon a time I guessed your leo ascendant (which you hotly denied)...I think it is actually on my sun...guess where asteroid MERLIN is right now???? All bestAnd don't forget that shared symptoms don't always lead to the same conclusion IP: Logged |

Faith, I am so sorry to hear that. But you are being your Self here, inspiring, compassionate, always thinking of others. And I agree sometimes being present is all you can do and need to do. But I understand you wanting to do just about anything to help, to be of assistance. But I am sure you are nothing less than an angel to your friend. IP: Logged |

Ceri Thanks for understanding ~ I have good intentions, yes, but I realize how that can go wrong. We'll just hope for the best...honestly I cannot imagine my friend dying! FireMoon Thank you. Well said, and yes, I was thinking of that, the empathic connection and just how far it might go. *edit IP: Logged |
