I am done. I am so underwhelmed with the lack of feeling and support that it has made me realise WTF is the point? I am invisible and I am irrelevant. Finally, I now get it. My drive has died. My will has succumbed. My heart is beat. I'm done. IP: Logged |

Well people are always hurt because other people aren't 'there' for them and want to die.Its high time people stop this nonsense because at the end of the day, who cares if nobody isn't there for you. Find strength within as that is one of the tests life gives us to see if we will pass. My own parents weren't there for me. And even then i didn't give up and kept going. I realized i don't need anyone and nobody is going to take care of me but myself. IP: Logged |

I had to learn that for myself.
However not everyone can easily do that or find a reason to love themselves and appreciate themselves.

It is good advice!  However I feel they should vent their frustrations out a bit as that could maybe help also. PS.

but at this point that may be a position HappyLoewe is unable to achieve without help from others. That is not dependency unless the person will not eventually find a way to depend on themselves.

You are NOT irrelevant.
Sometimes people feel like this right before a revelation. "Darkest before the dawn" I know you don't think you are supported, but sometimes people would like to help, but aren't sure what to do - keep talking in this thread and we'll see what we can do. NO life is irrelevant. You have a purpose. If you hang on in there and try make sense of your experience, you'll find it, I can promise this. But for now, why don't we talk it out? Members may have some strategies to help.
But if not, they can certainly empathise. Empathy alone, has been shown to positively affect a negative mood. There are many folks with many experiences here, someone will understand. Let's talk. IP: Logged |

Thanks to everyone who offered words of encouragement and apologies for taking so long to reply.I went off grid and totally lost myself. I had to retreat to gain some perspective. I think I might have experienced bouffé délirante (a "puff of madness"). I became very angry and upset and allowed these feelings to distort my view. This behaviour is unusual for me as I am normally quite upbeat and even-tempered. I rarely let anything get the better of me because I am a control freak but I lost that sense of control and the results were not pretty. However, I am now partly reassembled and this will be an ongoing process. And I will stop eating so much chocolate.
