It didn't go well. I was pelted with a lot of questions, so I never got to make my arguments.IP: Logged |

Were people super interested, Randall, and that was why they asked you so many questions?

I have adopted a new reason to get up every morning. I can't believe I almost didn't go back to the shelter this morning. Dad had me out of the house by 7:30am.IP: Logged |

Just made an appointment to get my Mirena IUD removed and replaced with the non-hormonal IUD paragard. While I had previously wondered if the hormones in my IUD may be cause of my current "low" state, it didn't fully hit me until recently after seeing my therapist for a month, she (who even only suggests them as a last resort) suggested that I start looking into anti-depressants. Looking back on my journal entries from before I had it installed and after, I realized that while I had a few "low" entries before (and even in my life in general) the *key* was that I ALWAYS found ways to cope and improve. This is the FIRST time in my life that I have ever been so low that I've forgone exercise, stopped socializing, stayed in bed for days, etc. It's like I fell down but for once can not get back up. After doing research on the correlation of Mirena and Depression and even how quite a few women only started taking antidepressants when they had the IUD, I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather be "safe than sorry" and at least try to see if removing the hormones helps any before I start taking meds that I *may* not even need. I know that the Mirena isn't the cause of my depression, but I'm more certain than ever that it definitely amplified its symptoms/presence in my life. IP: Logged |

I have 3 out of 60 annotated bibliographies left! They're due tonight at midnight! I've been working on them all day! If I have to type "Gender," "relationship" or "comparisons" any more than those three I think I'll go insane, but I'm almost done!!!!! IP: Logged |

Went to a store where I'd seen nice wooden tiles that were a tad too expensive for my taste, just to look at them once again - only to find that they were now offered for 33% less! Needless to say I happily grabbed those. Then, in the middle of the work, I was suddenly startled by two eyes watching me. As it turns out, a small bird has made its nest in a balcony box, under a conifer that gives it shelter, and wasn't bothered by my actions at all. I feel honored she has chosen this place, and will take care not to alarm her too much. When she flew away for a moment in the evening, I could get a glimpse of four tiny blue eggs.
